TERMS & CONDITIONS – SIMPLY SOFT PLAY LIMITED

These Terms & Conditions govern the hire of inflatable and soft play equipment supplied by Simply Soft Play Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By making a booking, the hirer (“you”, “your”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

BOOKINGS, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

A deposit of £30.00 is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

If the deposit is not received within 48 hours, we reserve the right to release the date and equipment.

Deposits are non-refundable except where explicitly stated under the cancellation policy.

The remaining balance must be paid in full before the equipment is used on the day of hire.

Accepted payment methods: Cash and Bank Transfer (BACS), Pos.

Bookings for services on a specific date are generally exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

DELIVERY, SET-UP & COLLECTION

We will deliver, set up, and collect equipment at agreed times.

The hirer must ensure:

• Adequate access for delivery
• A suitable, safe, level setup area
• The area is clear of hazards (sharp objects, animal fouling, obstacles, overhead obstructions, etc.)

The hirer is responsible for ensuring the booked equipment will fit in the available space.

If access is not possible or the setup area is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival, we reserve the right to cancel setup. In such cases, the full hire fee may still be payable.

Collection times are agreed in advance. Delays caused by the hirer may result in additional charges.

POWER SUPPLY

The hirer must provide a safe and suitable mains power supply within a reasonable distance of the setup area.

We can provide extension leads where required, but access to electricity remains the hirer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

USE OF EQUIPMENT & SAFETY

The hirer accepts full responsibility for the supervision and safe use of the equipment during the hire period.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Users should be grouped by similar age and size.

The maximum number of users permitted at any one time will vary depending on the equipment hired. The hirer must follow all guidance provided at setup and any signage displayed on or near the equipment.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Food, drinks/liquids, chewing gum, or liquids
• Face paint, glitter, confetti, or silly string
• Shoes, glasses, jewellery, or sharp objects
• Pets, smoking, barbecues, or naked flames

Safety signage and verbal instructions provided at setup must be followed at all times. The hirer is responsible for ensuring all users are aware of and comply with these rules.

Equipment must not be moved, altered, tampered with, or repaired.

Any faults or concerns must be reported immediately.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Inflatables must not be used when wind speeds exceed 23mph.

Use must stop immediately during unsafe conditions (high winds, rain, storms, lightning).

Equipment must not be used in wet conditions.

If equipment becomes wet due to misuse or failure to follow instructions, cleaning/drying charges may apply.

If we cancel due to unsafe weather:

• Full refund OR
• Alternative date offered

Customer cancellations due to weather forecasts are treated as standard cancellations unless we advise otherwise.

DAMAGE, LOSS & CLEANING

Responsibility passes to the hirer from delivery until collection.

Charges apply for:

• Damage
• Loss
• Excessive cleaning
• Staining
• Misuse or negligence

Repair/replacement costs will be charged at reasonable market rates.

CANCELLATIONS

More than 72 hours before:
Full refund including deposit

Within 72 hours:
Deposit retained, balance refunded

Same-day cancellation:
No refund

Date changes are subject to availability.

INSURANCE & LIABILITY

We hold Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million.

Proof can be provided upon request after booking.

The hirer accepts full responsibility for:

• Supervision
• Safe use of equipment
• Compliance with all safety instructions

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure or delays due to events outside our control (weather, government restrictions, transport issues, etc.).

OVERNIGHT HIRE (IF APPLICABLE)

If equipment is left overnight, the hirer is fully responsible for its security and condition until collection.

GENERAL

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.

If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain valid.

These Terms form the entire agreement between the parties.

BY BOOKING YOU CONFIRM:

• You have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
• You will follow all safety instructions
• You accept full responsibility for the equipment during hire
