Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. Please read this guide carefully before using any of our inflatable or soft play equipment.

🎉 General Safety Rules (All Equipment)

To ensure a safe experience for everyone:

• Always have a responsible adult supervising at all times
• No shoes, glasses, jewellery, or sharp objects on equipment
• No food, drinks, or chewing gum allowed
• No smoking or vaping near equipment
• No pets on inflatables or soft play
• Do not use equipment if you feel unwell or under the influence of alcohol
• Stop use immediately in high winds, heavy rain, or storm conditions

🏰 Bouncy Castle Safety Rules

For safe inflatable use:

👧 Age & Capacity

• Follow the recommended age and capacity limits provided at setup
• Do not allow overcrowding
• Separate older and younger children where possible

🏃 Behaviour Rules

• No somersaults, flips, wrestling, or rough play
• No climbing or hanging on walls or netting
• No pushing or piling on others
• Always bounce in the centre of the inflatable

🌬️ Weather Safety

• Inflatables must NOT be used in winds above safe operating levels (usually 24–25mph max)
• In case of strong winds, deflate immediately and secure

⚡ Electrical Safety

• Keep blower and cables clear of water and obstacles
• Do not switch off the blower during use
• Ensure plug sockets are protected and safe

🧸 Soft Play Safety Rules

For safe soft play use:

• Soft play is for toddlers and young children only (recommended ages 0–5 unless stated otherwise)
• Adult supervision is required at all times
• Do not allow climbing on stacked items unless designed for it
• Keep heavier children separate from toddlers
• Remove shoes before entering soft play area
• Soft play equipment is to not be used to sit on

🔧 Setup & Equipment Checks

All equipment is:

• Cleaned and sanitised before every hire
• Inspected for safety before delivery
• Supplied with all required anchors, mats, and blowers
• PAT tested (electrical equipment) where required
• PIPA tested (inflatable safety compliance) where applicable

We ensure all equipment meets UK safety standards for commercial hire use.

🚨 Emergency & Fault Procedure

If something doesn’t seem right:

• Stop using the equipment immediately
• Keep children away from the equipment
• Call us straight away using your booking contact number
• Do not attempt repairs yourself

🌧️ Weather Policy

Safety comes first:

• Light rain: may continue with caution (dry equipment after use)
• Heavy rain or strong winds: stop use immediately
• Heat: ensure children stay hydrated and take regular breaks

We may advise cancellation or early collection if weather conditions are unsafe.

👨‍👩‍👧 Supervision Requirements

A responsible adult (18+) must:

• Monitor children at all times
• Enforce safety rules
• Ensure correct usage of equipment
• Prevent overcrowding or unsafe behaviour

📍 Customer Responsibility

The hirer is responsible for:

• Providing a safe, clear setup area (flat, free from hazards)
• Ensuring access to electricity if required
• Following all safety instructions provided at delivery
• Reporting any issues immediately

🏁 Final Notes

By hiring from Simply Soft Play Limited, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided. Failure to do so may result in termination of hire without refund if safety is compromised.
